    Employee of the Year 2016

Congratulations! Jessica Vest, our employee of the year.

In tallying the resident voting in a very close race, a couple of themes emerged in the comments. Jessica is courteous, hard working, and willing to go above and beyond the call of duty to ensure resident satisfaction. Jessica is well regarded amongst staff as well. As her supervisor I am immensely grateful for her dependability, excellent work ethic, and customer service oriented approach.                                         CONGRATULATIONS to Jessica on her well deserved award!

Resident of the Month

For the month of October we would like to introduce Doyle Templeton as our Resident of the Month. You will recognize Doyle because of the sign on his walker. "Dirty Dog Doyle"

He got the nickname in prison.  WHAT!!!    Not to worry he was a prison guard.

Doyle was born in Canon City, Colorado. He was raised on a ranch and attended school at Sargents near Monarch Pass. Went to medical school in Japan and drafted into the Army just in time for the Korean Conflict where he serven as a Medic for eighteen months. Doyle attended Western State College majoring in music. As mentioned, Doyle was a prison guard for ten years at Canon City Territorial Prison.

Doyle is a Jazz Man. He often travled to Arazona for jam sessions, in fact he is always ready for a jam session. His speciality is Tenor, Alto, Bass, and C Melody sax, but is a mad man on Clarinet, Drums, and Bass Guitar. As a feather in his cap, Doyle won the Fruita Amature Contest at "Mike the Headless Chicken" Days. Doyle has a fantastic sence of humor and a wonderful care free sttitude about life.  So blessed to know you.
